Infection Control Solutions
What We Do
How do you know if your facility is clean? That is the question we try to answer here at MCS. We have taken our many years of experience, to combine industry leading infection control techniques, with cutting edge technology to bring you and your facility the peace of mind only data and a specialized spraying service can provide.
Our proprietary 6 step process, starts by using a patented cleaning and protecting solution to spray all your surfaces. This protects against microbial activity and is anti viral for up to 3 months. We follow that up with our rapid microbial and ATP test procedures, to check and confirm that your facility is germ free and safe from all types of microbial activity.
6 - Steps
MCS Infection Prevention Specialist(s) will meet you at your space to ensure we’re able to meet your needs. They will perform a thorough tour of your space to document all areas of concern and create a customized plan. A proposal will be presented and reviewed. (One size doesn’t fit all)
MCS Infection Prevention Specialist(s) will conduct multiple tests in key locations to determine the amount of active organic matter through industry-standard ATP and/or microbial testing procedures. These results will be documented and recorded to provide a baseline for comparison. (Pre-Cleaning State)
PermaSafe CLEANTM - A single quick and easy application will eliminate up to 99.999% of germs, bacteria, viruses*, fungi, mold and other harmful microorganisms, or “microbes” on hard, nonporous surfaces and 99.9% of same on fabrics and carpet, while also eliminating odors and allergens.
PermaSafe SHIELDTM - Once dried, the spray-on treatment permanently bonds to surfaces, both porous and non-porous, and will last for months. The dried solution resembles upturned spikes that puncture microbes like a bed of nails.
*PermaSafe CLEANTM has been approved by the EPA for use against SARS-COV-2, the coronavirus that causes the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID_19). PermaSafe CLEAN meets the EPA’s emerging pathogen requirements for viruses showing efficacy against envelop and non-envelope virus, both large and small.

MCS Infection Prevention Specialist(s) will conduct multiple tests in key locations to determine the amount of active organic matter through industry-standard ATP and/or microbial testing procedures. These results will be documented, recorded to verify the results of the cleaning process. (Post-Cleaning State)
An MCS certified decal will be placed in a visible location to show your customers and staffs that you are committed to their protection. (MCS Certified)
MCS follows FDA guidelines and recommends testing, cleaning and spraying every 90 days. For customers on quarterly maintenance, MCS will spot check and test your location in-between scheduled cleaning cycles. If the space is outside of expected norms, we’ll clean and shield your space for no additional charge. (MCS Commitment)

Science & Technology
Definitions/Descriptions
ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) is an energy molecule found in all plant, animal and microbial cells. You can think of this as the food for microorganisms to grow.
Microbial activity includes all microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and fungi that can infect humans and pets. Bacteria and viruses need a food source or a host to live and grow, and they feed off of ATP.
At MCS we swab and test for both ATP and microbial activity. This allows us to ensure that your facility doesn’t contain any harmful microorganisms, and that your environment won’t be a breeding ground for future microbial growth. This is the key to measuring and managing the effectiveness of your infection control plan.
Spraying
Electrostatic spraying is a process that quickly and evenly coats a surface with a disinfecting solution. The electrostatic applicator gives a negative charge to the disinfecting solution as it exits the nozzle, allowing the solution to stick to a targeted surface with 360-degree coverage.
Disinfection is a vital step to prevent the spread of infection. The MCS electrostatic disinfection system is a revolutionary 2 step process. Step 1 includes use of an EPA registered disinfectant with kill claims against viruses, fungi and bacteria including Tuberculosis (TB).
Application of Step 2 provides continuous antimicrobial protection via a proprietary “Electro-Mechanical’ process that kills germs without the use of harsh chemicals for up to three months.
Testing
Selection of the right technology is important in delivering accurate and timely infection control information to your organization. The MCS EnSURE Touch monitoring system is a comprehensive environmental solution that provides rapid ATP and microbial test results from surfaces and water samples.
